We are a pair of tea enthusiasts, living together for over twenty years in a dynamic harmony – Agnieszka Filipkowska and Piotr Korzeniowski.

About us

Long ago, a Chinese sage said, “Tea is drunk to forget the noise of the world.” This sentiment resonates deeply with us.

We strive for the teas in the PIAG collection to offer a moment of respite and bring a smile of pleasure to your face. We want to live more slowly, savor the moment, meet people, and show respect for the Earth, Nature, and human labor.

Agnieszka


She has loved tea since childhood.

In her family home, there was always a pot of strong, robust black tea. She relaxes in a green armchair with a cup of tea and a book at hand. She is curious about everything except politics. Her greatest interests are chemistry, the history of economics, and geographic discoveries. She loves people, nature – gardens and forests – silence and purity. She values friendship and loyalty. Impulsive and spontaneous by nature, she admires calm and composed people. She fears envy, yet is kind-hearted. And she loves Piotr.

Adventure, adventure – every moment counts! Always moving forward, he doesn’t linger in dreams but immediately takes action.

His name fits him perfectly. He is like a rock – a remedy for every trouble; he puts out fires and solves problems. He has excellent taste and a keen eye for exceptional products. Punctual and consistent, he plays guitar and enjoys poetry. A fan of Kapitan Kloss and Czterej Pancerni. Incredibly curious about the world and fond of gadgets!

The beautifully illustrated labels and the entire PIAG branding are her creations.

Kasia is Piotr’s daughter and has been involved in the PIAG tea project from the very beginning. A graduate of the Poznań Academy of Fine Arts, she spends her days in the distant world of data and infographics, yet she understands the brand’s needs perfectly. She knows that tea not only quenches thirst but also soothes the soul. Fans of our teas say that each new illustration is more beautiful than the last. We call her the “Dot Master,” because from seemingly simple shapes she creates incredible images, adding depth and multidimensionality.

Our Values

We see a similarity between human life – often described as a journey, where the path itself is an integral part – and the path of tea: the process of preparing and drinking it. In both cases, what matters most is nature, the human touch, and the mindful attention to each moment, so that every experience can be lived fully and deeply.

Entering the path of tea is worthwhile only with good tea. We strive to ensure that the PIAG collection offers exceptional and delicious teas. We select the finest tea leaves, herbs, and other ingredients. We create flavorful and unexpected blends, carefully packing them in beautiful, quality-preserving packaging, so that every cup of PIAG tea brings a smile of pleasure to your face.

Even as the world changes – sometimes in ways we don’t like – we try to remember the lines from Adam Asnyk’s poem:
“…Neither fire nor sword can stop thoughts in motion;
one must move forward with the living and reach for new life…”

Our Idea

Tea – as Adam Mickiewicz wrote in his 1818 poem Zima miejska: “drawn from Chinese herbs…” – has been brewed and enjoyed in Poland for over two hundred years.

Tea has firmly become part of our busy daily lives. We hope more young people will reach for it and embrace its healthful potential. Thanks to its caffeine and L-theanine content, tea gently ushers us into a state of light, creative stimulation.

In the rush of life, amidst the noise and the fear of missing out, we all need a moment to pause and gather our scattered thoughts. “From the boundless delights of this world…” – that is a cup of tea. A small pleasure that gives us a moment of calm, a chance to breathe, and a reminder to enjoy life’s simple joys.

Idea

The idea of creating our own tea brand emerges, which seems like an unattainable dream.

2005

Name and Learning

Gaining knowledge about tea, collecting ideas. Kasia creates the first designs. We already have a name – PIAG The Fresh Tea.

2019

We’re starting!

Full of optimism, we register the PIAG The Fresh Tea trademark and logo. The first loose tea flavors in bags reach the hands of customers!

2019

Necessity is the mother of invention

The pandemic and a time filled with concern for economic security. We expand our range of loose teas. The first minimally decorated tins appear.

2020

The first big step

PIAG introduces tea in biodegradable sachets individually packed in metallized envelopes! That was a lot of work...

2021

A tear in the eye

Another 7 tea flavors in sachets. All stars: Super Girl, Dark Muscat quickly gain customers’ appreciation, who are proud of PIAG and openly praise our work.

2022

Systematic work

The circle of PIAG tea enthusiasts continues to grow. Customers expect new teas with intriguing names and excellent flavors. Kasia draws a yellow panther for Funky Guy.

2023

I'm probably going crazy!

Kasia did an enormous amount of work – each label has its own illustration. Customers drink the tea and collect the tins – it has exceeded our expectations.

2024

Phones are ringing

We want more! Grateful for the interactions and listening to the market, we create more teas: Baba Yaga, Darling – raspberry delight. We have more ideas. And whoever hasn’t tried it yet is missing out!
