This leaf-style black tea hails from the misty highlands of India’s legendary Darjeeling region, where abundant rainfall, mineral-rich soil, lofty altitude, and dramatic shifts in temperature create its unique character. Each kilogram of Darjeeling requires around 20,000 tender shoots, all plucked by hand. A single tea bush yields only 50–100 grams of finished tea per year – proof of the craftsmanship and dedication behind every cup.

The name Darjeeling is reserved exclusively for teas grown in the Darjeeling district of West Bengal, India – teas celebrated worldwide for their distinctive taste and exceptional reputation.

In short: Darjeeling black tea – the champagne of teas, with a muscat-kissed autumn harvest.

And yes – it’s truly delicious. Enjoy!

If you enjoy tea stories

In a shadowy valley, where the sun rarely reached, a mysterious vine once grew. Its fruits – dark as midnight – carried a fragrance so sweet it lured travelers from afar. Legends whispered that these grapes held a secret power. One day, a young poet wandered into the valley, broken-hearted and lost. As he wept beneath the vine, an old woman appeared from the mist.

“Why do you cry, young one?” she asked.

The poet shared his sorrow. With a knowing smile, the woman offered him a cluster of black grapes.

“Taste them. They will ease your pain.”

The poet ate, and in that moment his sadness lifted, replaced by hope. Love bloomed once more in his heart. From then on, the vine was called Dark Muscat. Its fruit came to symbolize renewal and joy. People said that whoever tasted it would find happiness – and love – again.

Legend has it that Dark Muscat was a gift from the gods themselves, meant to soothe human sorrow and remind us of life’s beauty. To this day, its wine and tea are treasured for their unique sweetness, carrying with them a touch of magic and a promise of joy.
