In ancient times, when the mountains lay shrouded in heavy clouds and valleys slept beneath the mist, there lived a mighty dragoness named Lan. Gentle and wise, she watched over her land, protecting its people from evil. One day, while soaring over a valley, Lan saw a young man struggling in the raging river below. Without hesitation, she dove down, lifting him from the water and carrying him safely to shore.
The young man’s name was Li, a gifted craftsman. Grateful for his life, he promised to create something truly special for Lan. Soon after, he presented her with a necklace of black pearls — a symbol of her courage and the tears she had shed. Lan cherished the gift and wore it close to her heart ever after. But her happiness was short-lived. A wicked sorcerer, envious of her power and kindness, plotted her downfall. With deceit, he trapped Lan inside a dark cave and scattered the necklace’s pearls across the valley. When Li learned of Lan’s fate, he set out on a long and perilous quest.
