100% Arabica coffee from Central America, organically grown. It has low caffeine content, mild flavor, vanilla, floral and citrus aroma. It is a Fair Trade and IMC certified coffee. In order to create an alternative to the traditional coffee market, associations for trade with countries in the southern hemisphere have been formed in recent decades. Their goal is to promote better working conditions in developing countries through trade agreements that help small coffee producers. They are concerned with respect for human rights, including respect for children, non-discrimination and the creation of fair working conditions. One such association is TransFair, which has been in existence since 1992.

NATIVO features coffees from selected organic growing areas in Central and South America. Coffees from Peru or Honduras are often chosen for the same taste characteristics: a sweet, intense and balanced flavor with cocoa and fruit notes. Full body and a pronounced cocoa aftertaste..

 TransFair, which has been in existence since 1992, is one of these associations. At the end of 2003, various non-profit and Fairtrade producer brands were grouped under the FAIRTRADE label. Goppion Caffè was authenticated as a Fairtrade producer. Nativo had been a Fairtrade label since 1998. IMC, Istituto Mediterraneo di Certificazione (Mediterranean Institute for Certification) was established in 1995 to check and approve all manufacturing processes for organic farming products in order to protect the consumer. IMC inspections are carried out several times a year. Our company has been confirmed by the IMC every year since 1996.
