Instructions: Pour freshly boiled water (approx. 100°C) over the tea and steep for about 5 minutes.
Remember: your tea will only be as good as the water you use to brew it.

What is Buchu Betulina?
Buchu betulina (Agathosma betulina) is an evergreen shrub that grows in the lower mountain regions of western South Africa.
Its aromatic leaves are valued for their healing properties. In Africa, they’ve long been used as a natural remedy for the urinary system — with diuretic, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory effects.
The plant was introduced to Europe in the 19th century by explorer and physician Joseph Mackrill.
Today, due to the threat of extinction, buchu leaves are often sourced from cultivated plants grown under ecological conditions.

In the heart of the forest, in a small wooden hut, lived Nawojka. Only a few knew how to find her — not because she hid from people, but because only those who truly needed her could reach her.
Nawojka was so old that even the oldest villagers couldn’t remember a time when she hadn’t lived in the forest. Some said she had always been there — as eternal as the trees themselves. When someone was in need — body or soul — they would go into the woods to seek her out.
One day, a little girl named Jadzia set out to find her. She wasn’t sick — just curious. She had heard so many stories about Nawojka from her grandmother, mother, and aunts that she couldn’t resist finding the old woman herself.
Nawojka wasn’t surprised. She knew the girl would come — she was a wise woman, after all.
She welcomed Jadzia inside. The little one wandered around the hut, fascinated — the wooden table, the jars filled with colorful berries, the herbs hanging from the beams, and the large cat sleeping in the chair.
Nawojka said nothing. She knew Jadzia would return. And that, one day, she would become “the one who knows.”
Years passed, and one day Jadzia said:
– I’d like to make a tea that helps all women — to keep them healthy and remind them of their strength.
– Very well, Jadzia, – replied Nawojka. – Here are the treasures of the forest. Mix, create. Let it be yours.
And so, Jadzia created a blend she called Baba Yaga — made of hibiscus, chokeberry, elderberry, sweet blackberry leaves, raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, blackcurrants, and juniper berries.
She proudly shared it with every woman she knew, passing on the strength and sisterhood of those who came before her.
