Yummy Orange Rooibos – Golden Heaps of Oranges…

The red color of the tea and the aroma of oranges bring to mind the song by Agnieszka Osiecka:
“Golden heaps of oranges, that crazy girl who dances today, and the red dress she’s wearing, red torment in her heart, a dreamer, a mad girl, oh, she won’t kneel before fate…”

We don’t intend to kneel before fate either. Instead, we plan to enjoy the heavenly taste of Yummy Orange Rooibos — and we warmly encourage you to do the same!

If you like to know more – some facts for connoisseurs:

The name “rooibos” comes from the Afrikaans language and literally means “red bush” (rooi – red, bos – bush).
As you can guess, the name refers to the color of the infusion, which after brewing takes on a red-brown shade. Rooibos is not tea in the strict sense of the word. It’s commonly called tea, but in fact, it does not come from the tea plant (Camellia sinensis). It is therefore a herbal infusion.

Rooibos shrubs grow in South Africa and have the shape of rounded, spiky bushes. Their leaves are long and needle-like.
A very important fact for consumers is that rooibos shrubs come from natural, organic plantations where no fertilizers are used. It is a drought-resistant plant that thrives in the region’s harsh climate.
The leaves of rooibos are harvested, fermented, and dried in the sun to obtain their characteristic red color and naturally sweet taste.

If you like tea stories:

The Legend of Yummy Orange Rooibos

Long, long ago, when the Khoisan tribes roamed the harsh lands of Southern Africa, there was a legend about a magical tea.
It was said that this tea had the power to heal, soothe, and restore harmony.
It was known as “The Medicine of Africa,” and its secret was guarded by a shaman woman named Ayanda.

Ayanda was famous for her wisdom and her ability to connect with nature.
She wandered through the Cederberg Mountains, searching for herbs with special properties.
After long years of searching, she discovered the rooibos shrub, which grew only in this region.
The leaves of rooibos had healing and relaxing properties, and their sweet taste blended perfectly with the tangy note of red orange.

Ayanda combined rooibos leaves with red orange fruit and spring water from the Cederberg Mountains.
She created a tea with an extraordinary taste and aroma.
The tea quickly became popular among the Khoisan tribes, becoming an inseparable part of their daily lives.

The recipe was passed down from generation to generation, orally, and kept secret from outsiders.
Only the shamans of the Khoisan tribe knew the secret of its preparation.

It is said that the mystical recipe for rooibos combined with orange is hidden in a cave at the top of the highest Cederberg mountain.
The cave is guarded by the spirits of the ancestors, and only those who are pure of heart and have good intentions can reach the recipe.

If you wish to discover Ayanda’s secret and taste the tea of truly magical power, you must embark on a dangerous journey deep into the Cederberg Mountains.
You will have to climb steep rocks, cross wild streams, and face fierce animals.
But the reward is worth it.
Remember that only those who are brave and pure of heart can find the mystical recipe and experience the true taste of Yummy Orange Rooibos.

Feel the magic of the Cederberg Mountains and the flavor of exotic fruits with Yummy Orange Rooibos.
