BumbleBee is an oolong from Taiwan — a region celebrated for producing some of the finest oolong teas in the world. Taiwanese oolongs are treasured for their rich palette of flavors and aromas, which vary depending on terroir and specific climate conditions.
Taiwanese oolongs are divided into several types:
· Dong Ding: medium to heavily oxidized and roasted.
· Gui Fei: a variety of Dong Ding.
· Bao Zhong: the least oxidized.
· Gaoshan Cha: the most prized of Taiwanese teas.
· Hong Shui: deeply roasted with a high level of oxidation.
· Hong Oolong: heavily oxidized but not roasted.

We asked our client, Dominika Kornobis (www.czaryzognia.pl), a talented ceramic artist and a dear friend, to share what she feels when drinking tea — and how it influences her creative process:
“I sit in my studio with a cup of tea. Before I begin my work, I gather my thoughts. Sometimes they are scattered and overstimulated, sometimes brimming with inspiration.
Chamomile I treat as a gentle drift, when I want to slowly float away, to forget, to hear only the blues in my head instead of loud chatter.
With a sip of Earl Grey, I catch all the sunlit kites of my ideas, ready to move sketches from paper into the world of clay.
One day, I reach for my very first handmade mug; on another, I choose a heavy jug of black clay, to pour my favorite infusion in small portions into a cherished tea bowl.
And when the whole ceremony of brewing is complete — when every sense has been awakened: my eyes delighted by the beauty of the leaves, the fragrance spinning in my head as though asking me the hardest riddle, and when at last, in the taste, I find its solution — then magic happens. The clay itself begins to guide my hands.”
