Sunny Paper Kites

Everyday life is more beautiful than dreams.

This tea is an expression of our longing for a smiling everyday life, for spontaneous conversations and meetings. We await the summer that will spin us around, when we’ll laugh, jump, meet friends, make plans – and enjoy our tea together.

When creating this uplifting composition, we chose black tea that everyone loves. Rosemary did not appear by accident – it is a symbol of faithful love and loyal friendship. We decided that a good companion for this magical herb would be blackcurrant, which almost makes your teeth itch at the very sight, as it is full of the vitamin of joy. These two charismatic aromas are embraced by lemon, yellow as the sun. The enchanting fragrance of summer guarantees a smile on your face.

If you like to know more – connoisseur’s curiosities

Do you know how tea came to Sri Lanka?
Ceylon tea (also called Sri Lankan tea) is now one of the most popular teas in the world, known for its distinctive, full-bodied flavor. Its cultivation dates back to the mid-19th century, when the British, then colonial rulers of Sri Lanka, began planting tea, replacing the previously dominant coffee, which had been destroyed by a disease known as coffee rust.

To replace the failing coffee crops, the British imported tea seedlings from China.

If you enjoy tea stories:

The tale of Sunny Paper Kites Piag Tea

Ewa gazed at the gray sky, feeling the chill seeping through her coat. The first day of spring, and the weather felt more like November gloom. She reached into her bag and pulled out a tin labeled “Sunny Paper Kites.” It was tea her grandmother had given her. “For a brighter mood,” the old woman had muttered, pressing the tin into her hand. Ewa had never been a fan of herbal teas, but in that moment she was willing to try anything that might lighten her day.

When she got home, she opened the tin and inhaled the citrusy scent mixed with something fresh, almost woodland-like. She scooped a spoonful into her cup, poured boiling water over it, and let it steep. A few minutes later, the aroma rising with the steam was like a warm breeze. Ewa took her first sip. The black tea opened with a citrus note, then gave way to the sweetness of blackcurrant and the herbal freshness of rosemary. It was a surprising combination, but it worked. With each sip, she felt the tension in her shoulders easing, the chill slipping away.

She closed her eyes and imagined herself swinging high into the blue sky, a paper kite soaring above her head. The sun caressed her skin, and the scent of freshly cut grass floated in the air. When she opened her eyes, the rain outside had softened into a drizzle, and the sun was peeking shyly through the clouds. Ewa smiled. Maybe spring really was on its way. Maybe all it took was a little faith—and a cup of Sunny Paper Kites—to see it.
