HistoryGoppion Caffe is a company founded in 1859 by Luigi Goppion, who, as a young boy, dreamed of opening his own roastery after smelling freshly roasted coffee beans for the first time. The story of Goppion Caffe began with a café established in the market square of a small town near Treviso, close to Venice. Inspired by their grandfather's passion, his grandchildren continued his work and even started opening cafés in other countries. Discover

If You Like to Know More – Connoisseur’s Curiosities
Pai Mu Tan, also known as Bai Mu Dan or White Peony, is a Chinese white tea with a rich history. It originates from the Fujian province, and its name refers to the appearance of the buds and leaves, which resemble the petals of a white peony flower.
A few facts about this remarkable tea:
· The production of Pai Mu Tan began during the Song dynasty (960–1279), when the tea was served only to select guests.
· In the Ming dynasty (1368–1644), it became popular at the imperial court and was considered a luxury product.
· The city of Fuding in Fujian is regarded as the birthplace of White Peony tea, thanks to its perfect growing conditions.
· To produce Pai Mu Tan, usually the first two leaves together with the bud are harvested in early spring. The leaves undergo partial oxidation, mostly through sun-drying and indoor withering, and are later gently heated to stop fermentation. The entire process is designed to minimize damage to the leaves, preserving their delicate taste and aroma.

The Tale of White Earl Grey
In a quiet room, filled with the delicate aroma of bergamot, sat a young woman named Meysiu. In her hands she held a cup of steaming White Earl Grey. She watched as the sunlight filtered through the crystal cup, shimmering in golden hues.
Meysiu adored White Earl Grey. Its gentle, floral taste with a hint of citrus was like the essence of a spring morning. This tea not only quenched thirst, but also soothed the soul and brought deep comfort.
She closed her eyes and took a long sip. In her imagination, vast tea fields of China appeared before her. She saw the skilled hands of tea pickers harvesting the most tender leaves and buds, later laid out to dry in the sun.
In the blink of an eye, her mind carried her to sunny Italy, where bergamot oil was added to white tea. She imagined the juicy fruits with their distinctive citrus fragrance, giving the tea its unique character.
Smiling, enchanted by this journey across lands, Meysiu continued to drink the tea—a union of Oriental delicacy and Southern sunshine. With every sip, she tasted harmony and happiness.
At that moment, her beloved husband Long entered the room. He sat beside her and took a sip from her cup.
"Mmm, delicious," said Long. "White Earl Grey is my favorite tea. It reminds me of our wedding day."
Meysiu smiled softly. At their wedding, White Earl Grey had been served—a symbol of their love, blending delicacy and strength, just like the floral aroma of tea entwined with citrus notes.
Together they sipped in silence, savoring both the tea and each other’s presence. They knew that this tea would forever remain their symbol of love, happiness, and harmony.
