HistoryGoppion Caffe is a company founded in 1859 by Luigi Goppion, who, as a young boy, dreamed of opening his own roastery after smelling freshly roasted coffee beans for the first time. The story of Goppion Caffe began with a café established in the market square of a small town near Treviso, close to Venice. Inspired by their grandfather's passion, his grandchildren continued his work and even started opening cafés in other countries. Discover

More about the product
Green Oolong with a Fleeting Milky Aroma
Oolongs are teas that form a bridge between green teas—where oxidation is prevented entirely—and black teas, which are fully oxidized.
Our Milky Oolong is a green oolong with a naturally sweet, creamy flavor. This subtle sweetness comes from lactones present in the tea leaves of shrubs grown on Taiwan— the breathtaking island once known as Formosa.
A whole universe in a single cup!
At PIAG we do everything we can (and even what we can’t) to ensure that a cup of our exclusive tea becomes a synonym for luxurious relaxation.
Milky Oolong – The Milky Way to Pure Flavor
Ingredients: Green oolong from Taiwan, natural aroma.
Taste: When brewed, this tea releases a delicate, milky fragrance with gentle floral undertones. On the palate, Milky Oolong offers a smooth, sweet taste with a subtle creamy note—not an intense milk flavor, but a refined, silky impression.
Wellness: Oolong teas are the most effective of all teas in fighting body fat. They help lower cholesterol and blood sugar levels, while also being rich in antioxidants. The leaves of oolong tea are full of vitamins and minerals, making every cup as nourishing as it is delicious.
Packaging: Milky Oolong Piag Tea is presented in an elegant tin, designed to beautify any kitchen. The stunning artwork by illustrator and designer Katarzyna Korzeniowska makes each tin a collectible piece. Every single package is labeled and wrapped by hand. Everything we do—we do with love.
Milky Oolong
It has always been, and always will be, our greatest desire that drinking our teas feels timeless—almost cosmic. And there is no exaggeration in this. With its celestial name and otherworldly flavor, Milky Oolong perfectly embodies this dream.
This tea is so delicious that it fills you with gratitude—gratitude that we live on this planet, that someone long ago discovered tea, and that it continues to be such an essential part of our human story.
And just as infinite as the universe itself, so too is our love for tea. Every single day, from sunrise to sunset, and even at night beneath the mysterious glow of the moon, we pour our hearts into our craft so that you can savor the world’s finest teas.
Milky Oolong is your ticket to a cosmic escape! Its ethereal creaminess and sweet, milky aroma will carry you far beyond where the human eye can reach…

If You Like to Know More – Connoisseur’s Curiosities
A linguistic gem!
The word oolong (Chinese: wūlóng 烏龍) literally means “black dragon.”
Why such a name? Because when the tea leaves unfurl in hot water, their swirling movements resemble graceful black dragons dancing in the cup.
Taiwanese oolong, the one you’ll find in Milky Oolong, is among the most prized teas in the world. And how is it made?
· Step One: The leaves are hand-picked several times a year, from April through December.
· Step Two: Freshly harvested leaves are laid out in the sun to wither, allowing partial evaporation of water and the first stage of oxidation.
· Step Three: The leaves undergo oxidation. The degree may vary, shaping the tea’s character—lightly, moderately, or more strongly oxidized.
· Step Four: Once the desired level of oxidation is reached, the process is halted—usually through heating or roasting.
· Step Five: The leaves are gently rolled into characteristic shapes.
· Final Step: Moisture is removed to preserve the tea’s unique flavor and aroma.

The Milky Way in a Teacup: The Tale of Milky Oolong
In the quiet glow of a softly lit room, Aga immersed herself in the ritual of tea. Delicate Milky Oolong leaves swirled in hot water, releasing their fragrance like a nebula shimmering against the velvet of the night sky. From the cup radiated an aura of calm and mystery—like the Milky Way stretching endlessly across the universe.
The first sip was a journey to the stars. The taste was subtle and smooth, with creamy and floral notes—velvety, like a cloud of stardust drifting in cosmic silence. Aga closed her eyes, and her imagination carried her across galaxies.
With each sip she discovered new flavors: the sweetness of blooming stars, the gentle bitterness of dark matter, and the freshness of a cosmic wind. Milky Oolong became her guide, leading her through the hidden corners of the universe and revealing the beauty of distant constellations.
The tea awakened something within her: a sense of peace and harmony, like an observer lost in the majesty of the cosmos. She realized that in a cup of Milky Oolong lies the infinite wisdom of the universe, and that every sip is a journey into the heart of the galaxy.
One evening, gazing at the night sky, Aga saw the Milky Way shimmering above the horizon. In its glow she recognized the shape of her teacup. At that moment she understood: tea does not only connect her with the cosmos, but also with all living beings under the stars.
From then on, she drank Milky Oolong with reverence. In every sip she felt the presence of the universe and its boundless energy. Milky Oolong became not just tea, but a symbol of connection—with nature, with the cosmos, with all forms of life.
The Milky Way in a cup – Milky Oolong Piag Tea is a story of uncovering cosmic mysteries and finding harmony in the very heart of the universe. Each sip is like a falling star, carrying with it hope and inspiration.
