Four Seasons – A Symphony of Flavor

To listen to Vivaldi’s Four Seasons takes about 40 minutes.

That is precisely how long the full ritual of brewing and savoring aromatic Four Seasons tea may last.

When Spring begins, filled with joy, we open the tea tin and scoop the leaves into the teapot. We fall in love—just as one does in spring—with their fragrance. While the concerto continues, we boil the water, and just as Spring ends, we are ready to pour it over the leaves.

With the first notes of Summer, we watch as the leaves unfurl and the infusion deepens in character. Then, as the brew reaches its perfect strength and color, we carefully pour it into cups.

As Autumn plays—the perfect season for drinking tea—we indulge in the most delightful part of the ritual. The taste moves us so deeply that, enchanted by the violin concerto, we wish only that this bliss would last forever.

At last, we say farewell with Winter. Though lively and dramatic in sound, it perfectly concludes the feast. And in its rhythm, one may surrender to another, equally pleasant activity…

But is there truly anything more pleasurable than drinking tea?

If You Like to Know More – Connoisseur’s Curiosities

The history of oolong tea in Taiwan is closely tied to the island’s development itself. Taiwan, once known as Formosa, earned international fame for producing oolongs—especially the delicate, floral varieties.

At first, oolong production was centered in China, but over time the craft spread to Taiwan, where the climate and misty mountains provided the perfect conditions for cultivation.

The career of Taiwanese oolongs truly began in 1869, when Scottish merchant John Dodd shipped 127 tons of Formosa Oolong to the United States. That shipment marked the beginning of Taiwan’s international reputation for tea.

Today, Taiwan is celebrated worldwide as a producer of exceptional-quality oolongs. Their character varies depending on the region, the season, and the processing methods.

Taiwanese oolongs are especially renowned for their delicate floral aroma and subtle taste. Depending on how they are crafted, they may be light and refreshing or darker and more roasted.

If You Like Tea Stories

“Love is when you want to experience all four seasons with someone.
When you want to run together under blossoming lilacs during a spring storm,
pick berries and swim in rivers together in summer.
In autumn, make preserves and seal the windows against the wind.
In winter, help each other through colds and long evenings—and when the chill sets in, light the fire together.”

These are the words of Janusz Leon Wiśniewski, the author of the famous novel Loneliness on the Net.

We were so moved by this passage that we wholeheartedly sign it with all the hands available in our team . And we leave it with you, as a gentle reminder to include tea in your daily rituals with loved ones.

Let Piag Tea accompany you throughout the year—in the extraordinary and touching moments, and in the simple, everyday ones too.
