Silver Earl Grey – where tradition meets modernity

Ingredients: Black tea, white tea, orange flavor, lemon flavor, grapefruit flavor.

Taste: What makes Silver Earl Grey truly unique is the blend of bergamot, orange, grapefruit, and lemon oils. Together with the bold character of Ceylon tea, it creates a dream combination—strength and fragrance in one.

Wellness: Ceylon black tea is known for its dark color, strong flavor, and high caffeine content that energizes and stimulates. White tea, on the other hand, has a light color, delicate taste, and low caffeine content that calms and soothes. It is also rich in antioxidants that help protect the body from free radicals and support immunity.

Packaging: Silver Earl Grey by Piag Tea comes in an elegant tin that adds charm to any kitchen. The beautiful design is the work of illustrator and designer Katarzyna Korzeniowska. Each tin is hand-wrapped and carefully packed. Everything we do—we do with love.

Why Silver Earl Grey?

It’s a sparkling, unforgettable version of Earl Grey—one that makes every moment feel extraordinary. This is more than just tea—it’s also a gift. Brew it for yourself or share it with someone you love, and experience the true magic of tea.

For Those Who Love to Know More – Connoisseur’s Corner

This aromatic blend combines fine Ceylon black tea, grown on the island of Sri Lanka, with delicate white tea—the least processed and healthiest form of tea. The young leaves and buds are hand-picked in early spring, then sun-dried, which minimizes oxidation. Thanks to this gentle process, the leaves retain their natural shape.

If You Love Tea Stories...

Since “speech is silver and silence is golden,” let’s see what people say about Silver Earl Grey.

“When I was in the creative process of writing my first book, I became fascinated with the lifestyles of other writers. I searched the internet, read biographies. I loved peeking into their homes, reading about their desks, their work routines—and what they drank while writing.

Desks? No rules there. As many writers, as many desks. As many desks, as many kinds of chaos. Agatha Christie or Nabokov wrote at small round tables that held only a typewriter and two piles of books. Hemingway wrote standing up, pounding away at a typewriter perched on a bookshelf. Tolstoy wrote in utter disarray—a space you couldn’t even call a study, as if he had just sat down by chance to scribble a few lines. Virginia Woolf, on the other hand, worked in a beautiful room that opened directly into the garden. It was perhaps the only place in her home where she ever felt happy, in all the sorrow she endured—until the day she filled her coat pockets with stones and walked into the River Ouse, near her house. But that’s quite another story…

As for drinks, sadly, most sources spoke of alcohol. Hemingway—mojito. Wilde—absinthe. Faulkner—whisky. I, however, always wrote with a cup of tea by my side. Maybe that’s why in Onirogen the word “tea” appears no fewer than sixteen times! My characters, too, often had tea for company. And what teas did I choose? Always teas from Piag—I’ve been a fan for as long as I can remember. I can’t even recall a time without Piag. Sometimes I wonder how I ever managed to drink anything else. My greatest love has always been Earl Grey—all its variations, adored with a faithful and blind passion. My kitchen shelf is filled with Earl Greys. I couldn’t possibly list them all, but it was Silver Earl Grey that stole my heart for a very long time. I think I can honestly say it even helped me write.”
