White Yuzu – The Perfect Excuse for a Tea Ceremony

The Chinese tea tradition, known as cha dao, is centuries old. It places great importance on the very process of brewing, which varies depending on the tea. These tea ceremonies often become elaborate rituals involving precise techniques and special vessels – tiny cups, delicate bowls, teapots, and kettles. For the Chinese, drinking tea is not just relaxation – it is a way of contemplating life and deepening their connection with both nature and people.

And what about you? How do you drink your tea – in a rush, or slowly savoring every sip? Alone, or with family and friends? With breakfast, or at dinner? In a mug, or in fine porcelain?

Of course, we know – it depends on the day, the moment, the mood… and the tea itself.

Let White Yuzu be your invitation to create a little ceremony of your own, right at home. Come to us, explore this exquisite tea – maybe even discover a few tea accessories – and feel like a true cha dao master.

With joy, we’ll guide you into the world of tea.

If You Love to Know More – Connoisseurs’ Corner

Piag Tea White Yuzu is a premium white tea crafted to satisfy even the most demanding tea enthusiasts. It is cultivated in the ecological gardens of China’s Fujian province and picked by hand to ensure the finest taste and aroma.

The leaves are harvested in early spring, when they are still young and delicate. They undergo only minimal processing to preserve their natural character. Yuzu fruits, on the other hand, are picked in autumn, at the peak of ripeness and fragrance.

White Yuzu is rich in antioxidants that protect the body from free radicals. It also provides valuable vitamins and minerals, including vitamin C, potassium, and magnesium. Enjoying White Yuzu may have a positive impact on overall health.

To fully unlock its flavor and aroma, use fresh spring water at 75–85 °C. Steep the leaves for 2–3 minutes, and extend the time for subsequent infusions to bring out the full depth of the tea.

If You Love Tea Stories

The Legend of the White Dragon Yuzu

High in the mountains, in a shadowy cave, lived a white dragon named Yuzu. He was the last of his kind, guarding an ancient secret. Yuzu possessed a unique gift – his tears would turn into shimmering white tea leaves, while his breath carried the sweet, citrusy fragrance of yuzu fruit.

One day, a young girl named Mei stumbled into Yuzu’s cave, lost and frightened. The dragon took pity on her and offered her shelter. Mei gratefully accepted, and soon a bond of friendship grew between them.

Yuzu revealed his secret to Mei – a magical tea with the power to heal and soothe. Mei promised to protect his secret and aid him in his mission.

When Mei’s village was struck by a deadly plague, she knew she had to act. Yuzu wept, and his tears became tea leaves. Mei brewed them into an infusion that healed the sick and restored life to the people. The village was saved, and both Mei and Yuzu were celebrated for their sacrifice.

But darkness lingered. A sorcerer, envious of Yuzu’s power, kidnapped Mei to exploit her bond with the dragon. Yuzu, filled with courage, faced the sorcerer in a fierce battle. With strength and bravery, he defeated the villain and freed his friend.

Together, Mei and Yuzu returned to the village, where they were welcomed as heroes. Their friendship and devotion became a lasting symbol of hope, courage, and loyalty.

The legend of the White Dragon Yuzu lives on, carried in every sip of Piag Tea White Yuzu – reminding us of friendship, bravery, and the strength of selfless sacrifice.
